I had a 'phone call from Sara, today. Sara is a receptionist at my GP's surgery. They had a supply of the Covid vaccine arriving - would I like to go on her list!! Yes, please!!!!! Apparently she was getting refusals at the rate of 2 in three through the "a's". There are some strange people about!

So, next Tuesday I go for the first jab - at 9:24 in the morning. When I queried such an odd time, Sara said :"I don't organise it, I just pass it on!" I like this crazy world and think I'll stay for a while!

I think maybe they will get round to me in 2022 lol

Well at the rate of refusal my surgery is getting, it might well be next week!

I was referring to the belief that those of us who have not been contacted will be called in in sequence. That has everything to do with a brewery.

Billy and I are in the same group by age but he is in the extremely vulnerable group so probably would be offered the jab before I will. I think I need to buy some more soap and hand gel for the wait.

I hear they are going to be using Bath race course as a vaccination centre so I will be galloping up there as soon as I'm called ! It won't be for ages yet though as I'm way down the pecking order.

I aske Mike was he having it and he said no, not till they give it to me as well, ( he is stubborn ) so we will be staying in for the foreseeable, They are suggesting that Wales now scraps Christmas as the NHS will be overwhelmed by a third wave
