help with a size please

I need to send a parcel back and need to work out the combined size its app 31" long, 10 1/2 wide and 36" high and i need the combined size of length plus the girth to be able to work out if the post office will take it for parcel force, i get it to 3 mtrs am i right as i am in a mess, the item is broken and has to go back by parcel force with a pre paid label on that i have. any help would be great xx

The girth is the four shortest sides added together. See the diagrams in this link.
