    Default Not receiving any eBid emails

    I posted earlier that I hadn't received any confirmation emails for new listings and new sales since the server migration.

    I have just found out that I'm not receiving any emails from eBid. The buyer of the recent sales had also sent me an invoice request, and this did not come through to me either. I only found out while scrolling through the ASL on the sold items.

    Could you please look into this as, without these emails, I don't know about my sales, and I cannot respond to buyers if I don't know I have any.

    Hi Kazza,

    We've checked and it seems your ISP is blocking our emails currently. We have contacted them to ask why this is.

    I'm also having a problem with eBid emails since yesterday. Somebody asked me a question yesterday afternoon but I didn't realize it because there was no email. I just happened to spot it when I looked at my eBid page late last night. The email for it eventually arrived in the early hours of this morning at 3.59am along with an email saying this question still requires an answer at 4.32am !
    I also listed a new item today and there was no email notification for it.

    Thanks Gazza. After reading your response, I have also contacted my ISP to confirm the issue with them. They have escalated the query and advised that they will get back to me within 24 - 48 hours. Fingers crossed!!

    My missing 'listing' email notification from yesteterday evening came in at 4.03am again ! Why am I getting this huge delay with the eBid emails ?

    Hi Gazza,

    I've just had a phone call from my ISP (email hosting) and they have advised me that they are not blocking any emails from eBid. Not sure where to go from here. Any suggestions?

    We'll take another look. Can you do a password reminder email so we can have an email sent out to base our checks on.

    Thanks for your reply.

    I went onto the eBid site yesterday and changed my contact email address to my gmail email address. I am now receiving my eBid emails.
    This leads me to believe that the issue is with my ISP email server, despite what they have told me.
    I've contacted them again with this further information, and asked them to investigate the issue again. I'll wait for their response.

    Thanks very much for responding to my query. The fact that this all began at the same time that the site data was migrated led me to believe that it was related.
    I will get back to you, and complete the password reminder email if my ISP cannot find a reason for the problem.

    They have suggested that it may be a configuration issue on the eBid server.

    I have just changed my email address back to my original email address, and sent through a forgotten password request, but of course the email with the special link has not come through. So now, I can't log in to eBid at all!

    Help!!!
