August Lockdown Check In Thread

Hopefully we won't need too many of these threads but they keep me busy while I wait for the YDC crew to get up and running

Mike and I still have to isolate till 15th so just going for short walks if he feels up to it ( which isn't often)

Hmmm in theory since my local shop is only 40 metres away I could really go out in my dressing gown but my slippers are pretty embarrassing

Our isolation is over, just getting out and about where hopefully there are no crowds - spent the best part of today at our favourite coastal park and we're now completely relaxed again...

This is the norm for me as I have been self isolating since about this time 3 years ago

I have to go on-line to see what is going on 'out there'

Some things have change though. I now own a number of face coverings and a ridiculous amount of hand gel

A big bonus for me is that I am currently writing a book about the 2020 lockdown (due for publication early January next year)

Oh I know what you mean about hand gel - I have two in my car, a further two in my bag as does Mandy and ridiculous amounts in various positions around the house....
