    Thumbs down Seller Question

Been asking a question of fellow seller to no avail ... tells me that an email will be sent, but still I get no answer after several goes.

    Is the q&a system working?

Sounds like the Seller has Q&A notifications turned off - or they're going into their spam folder.

Yes, all possible. However, I cannot see where you might turn Q&A Notifications off... and I wonder if it is because I have been banned by the seller and so unable to ask a question... but this is what I get when I submit the question: An email has been sent to dxxxxxxxxxxxx informing them of your input. You'll be emailed if/when they reply. You can also keep track of all the Q&A that you need to respond to via the summary page of My eBid.

Not indicating that it won't be recieved and yet in the summary page mentioned, I do not see it either!

Very confusing - how else can I contact the buyer? - as I want to know why I am banned from making a purchase!

Maybe try support@eBid.net to see if they can advise.

    Good luck!

Thanks again - but I do not see any options to switch off email notifications from others here... I presume everyone has the same view?

I will contact support and let you know how it goes... TTFN

Is it showing on the item page down the bottom of page. Sometimes if I reply to a question or send a question it doesn't show up on my eBid page.
You are right that if a seller blackballs you they can delete questions. But it's a bit stupid, if you haven't had a bad experience with someone, to ignore a potential buyer

I worked out that Q&A's disappear if the listing they were asked on ends before the Q&A is seen by the party it was sent to. I worked it out as I've recieved email notifications saying I had a question, but when I went onto eBid there was no question. Even when I clicked the link in the email it would say it doesn't exist or some such wording.

Good one, but the listing is still current.

Support have only suggested that the seller is choosing to ignore me... so rude in my opinion + a good reason to block him too!

And yet, I still don't see the emails in my status, so I have no confidence in the Q&A system. Support have chosen to ignore that too!
