    Default Listings dissapeared overnight.

Yesterday I spent about two hours, research included, creating 8 listing, this morning they had vanished. I have the New Listing e-mails in my inbox, but when I try to use the link, they all take me to the This Listing Has Been Deleted message. Before I spend anather hour (research no longer needed so half the time) putting them back up, can I be sure that it won't happen again?

Were they duplicates? In which case, they will be deleted but you would be notfied by email.

BTW, I can see over 1600 listings of yours.

Suggest you contact support@eBid.net for advice.

I have and they eventually answered me, I was just getting a bit impatient. The only listings that were lost were the 8 that I listed yesterday evening, the nearly 2,000 that were already there have not been affected. I was a bit galled that I had spent so much time on them only to have them taken away without any explanation. They were all Government issue, that is to say only used by the Government not available to the general public, stamps from Germany in 1938. This apparently makes them Nazi memorabilia which is banned on E-bid (although I can't find anything about it in the banned item section of the help pages). I'm still a bit galled, not because they were taken away - if they are banned fair enough, but because I wasn't told about it before I spent all that time on them.

Due to court rulings over the years we are severely limited to what German memorabilia is permitted in different countries. We allow coins and stamps only. What were you listing?

    Thx,

They were stamps, official government stamps only used for offical government buisness, at the time when the government in question was the National Solialist Workers party, AKA the Nazis.

Very strange, they were listing in the top level "Stamps" category correctly?

They should not have been removed if so.

Ah, I may well have put them in the wrong category, I noticed that some of the stamps around them that did survive were in the postcard category (changed now) and I would have used the sell similar method. I'll give it another go, one at a time, and see how it goes.
