just a question for people - If the use of branded tape was such a bad idea then why do Amazon & the Bay put so much effort into branded packaging? The benefit of tape over a box is it's much more versatile than a box

Good question. I have 6 rolls of branded tape here for another marketplace and will be putting that on all my parcels until the eBid tape materialises.

I haven't seen the Bay branded packaging but I doubt many people on here have missed the Amazon boxes. I am a salesperson for a company who deliver my orders in branded boxes too and they had them when I was selling their products back in the 70's

And all those inbetween. Personally I do beleive the customer cares. We've also got regular postie & Hermes people who are great at noticing packaging that's out of the ordinary, I'm always impressed at what info can be shared in 30 seconds.

It's one way in a catalogue of potentials that sellers can promote the platform they're selling on & just because it doesn't fit with one person, shouldn't mean it has to be wiped out for all.

In all honesty I'd rather Gazza put the money in a box as a start to building up a more effective way of getting eBid better known. I'd even support using the money to back a horse in the hope of building up an advertising fighting fund.

If it came to a choice I'd rather see management hiring more staff to cover the obvious toll that recoding the site/back end has taken. New features get everyone talking & social media is faster (& cheaper) than official advertising.

Members have been asking for us to bring back eBid tape for sometime for their personal use. This has meant having the means in place to ship to the USA, UK, Europe and the rest of the World which takes a bit of time to set up. We will have an update shortly.

Isn't eBid already set up to send items internationally? Sell, form fill, package, pop to the post office? First new news about this was over a month ago, that's a terrible lead time if it's a print company holding things up.
