An Update on Chairman Harri!

Cam - "warmth and hope" cracked me up! You're right - the cat would have skidaddled.

"Not much evades my eye", you said. HA! Well, if you knew all the times I managed to step in a wadge of chicken poo, you wouldn't say that!!! lol

I agree, critters usually know where they want to be, given half a chance. My younger daughter had a cat she took in from a friend when the friend had to move. She loved it, and took care of it, and it got along fine with her other cat. It was an indoor/outdoor cat with a cat flap for free entrance and exit. But it started disappearing for longer and longer periods of time. Then it didn't come back. But every few weeks, for years, my daughter would find a line up of dead mice and birds beside the cats bowl, as a gift. It apparently wanted to live elsewhere, but seemed too appreciate my daughter, too!

Hahaha...and the number of cats you come across that have two or three "owners" - perhaps they should not be called owners but "pets"! Dinner at A then again at B and then C...now where shall I rest for the remainder of the day? Lol

On the other hand, I come down in the morning and Harri takes me to the back door. On his return (and I have managed to put the kettle on) he returns and looks at the fridge. "I've been and want my treat now." (I still do not have coffee!)

Harri's treat disappears magically and he walks to his bowl. "Breakfast now then. Hurry up! I'm starving as I've been busy!"

I feed him...then, eventually, I make my coffee....Wish I had a dog's life!
