Default Help - anyone near a branch of Wickes?

Am trying to finish a job tiling a floor with peel and stick vinyl planks. Went to order more and the brand: Westco Timberstyle SILVER WOOD, is no longer available. Westco is now out of business, Wickes has removed the product code for the Silver Wood packs, but some may still be available on the shelves or in the Clearance bins - if passing could you look, happy to pay price + profit + postage.
Please note: Westco packs of Beech are still available, but that is not the one I need.
Many thanks if anyone has the time to look.

How many are you looking for (total number or packs)?

All being well I'll be going by Wickes tomorrow. If they have what you need I'll see if they will hold them for me until I can confirm you want them.

    Hi Astral,
I'm now only looking for one pack (having searched online and contacted Wickes I bought other planks, close to but not matching, to finish, but I would like to match the half finished widths across the room when I ran out).
Thank you for your time - only hope I haven't missed replying in time for your visit.
    Many thanks,
    Marie.

Sorry, no joy. All they had were 2 packs of the oak parquet tiles.

I feel your pain. I had the same thing happen to me when I tiled the bathroom walls.

    Hi Astral,
Thank you so much for taking the time to look. I have used Westco products for many years in previous houses and it never occurred to me that it could go out business- have been kicking myself for not getting on with the job more quickly. The biggest problem has been Wickes removing the product code so they now have no idea what stores may still have packs in stock. When phoning different branches and giving the product code, when asked and mentioning that it had been removed, all they would do is check on the computer and say no, we haven't any in stock instead of just looking on the shelves (computer says no!).
It was very kind of you to take the time and I'm very grateful. I will just have to live with a two-tone half-matching floor until I can face redoing the whole of the kitchen and the dining room yet again - how did you managed with your bathroom situation?.
    All the best,
    Marie.

My sister managed to find some in her local B&Q store. While the same pattern (a sort of water splashed effect) they were from a different batch number and did not exactly match the ones I had as the density of the 'splashes' were different. I used those behind the basin and at floor level where they were not noticeable - unless you got on your hands and knees.

I was still a few short so inset some large mirror tiles behind the shower at head height turning the missing tiles into a feature.

Sounds good - surprising that sometime a problem can force you to improve your original plan.
Now, if only I could think of something......

Have you laid any yet? If not could you create a contrasting border and infill that with your silverwood panels? Or maybe a central feature? Difficulty with both would be getting everything level.

Yes, I've put all the packs down: first the kitchen and then the dining area which is open to kitchen and have covered all by using close, but different planks. Took Westco planks up to a large unit which leaves gaps every other tile to fit to wall after moving unit. If I'd realised I'd could no longer buy I should have stopped with a complete section wall to wall and then changed over planks to finish. The only thing left to do is pull up the unfinished Westco back to where I can finish wall to wall by using the pulled up tiles and then continue with the new tiles - but I not looking forward to it. Can't think of any thing else to do.
