I've been working on my genealogy quite a bit lately. Both on Ancestry and on Family Search. I have an Ancestry subscription.

My Dad's parents were from England, most of my ancestors on that side were from Cheshire.

My Mom's parents were Germans from Russia. Started out in Germany and then migrated around until they ended up in Bessarabia / Moldova area.

Great grandparents on both sides were homesteaders in Alberta in the early 1900s.

Sometimes FindMyPast will have a free weekend. Does anyone know when the next one is going to be offered?
