Switching catagories ?

I have several t-shirt dresses to list, some long and some short sleeves. I've started but they are all in the same sub-catagory at the moment, but before adding any more, I'm thinking it would be better to list them seperately.
Will I have to create a new Parent Cat and then add subs i.e. long and short sleeves ?
If so, how do I transfer the listings that are already there under 't-shirt dresses' without accidentally deleting them ?
Any help please ?

If I have understood what you want to do correctly then you are on the right road. Create the new category and subcategories in your store.

As you have few listings so far I think your best option then is to edit each listing individually and change the store category and subcategory to the new one you want them to appear under. I would be nervous at introducing you to Bulk Edit.

Before doing any editing it is always worth taking a backup of your current listings. You then have a known good state to revert back to should anything go pear shaped. To do that go to your My eBid > Listings I'm Running page and click the Export button to save your current listings to a file on your computer.
