    Default Please don't groan - it's me again ..........

Well thanks to Astral for pointing me in the direction of a set-up 'walk-thru'.
I've set up (again) now, but have just put one listing in to test the waters.
A lot of questions have been answered for me, but there are still one or two that aren't clear, however I'll leave them for now, I 'think' I've got the basics sorted out.
So can I ask please if someone can check out my store, tell me what I've done wrong, what needs changing and what can be improved ? have I forgotten anything or left anything out ?

Please be honest (but not too critical - remember I'm 'on the edge' !)
    Thank you

Hi, your store doesn't look too bad to me, once you get more bits in it, it should flesh out nicely - my only point is very much a personal preference and that's the use of yellow on your banner - I think muted colours look better, but as I say, that's just a personal preference - check my stores out to see what I mean...
    Good luck.

Thank you, I'm not struck with the yellow myself actually, I just wanted to try something to see if it worked.
I have loads to list, it will take time.

It looks fine and so much better with a gallery picture

I agree with Mandart about your logo, but to be honest, I never pay any attention to logos, banners or any other fripperies - my pet hate is a picture of the seller ( sorry if I offended anyone).

Carry on as you are doing and you can now start to relax.

    (Glad you didn't give up).

Thank you very much - I must admit though, I didn't know what was meant by a Gallery photo before - duh !
If I had a brain I'd be dangerous.

Congratulations. I think you have done a better job of setting up your store, listings and About Me page than most new sellers to the site.

Glad you stuck with it - I thought you had gone,

Thank you ! I'm afraid I can be a bit impatient to say the least ! if I can't 'get' something first time, I have a rant, a sulk, stamp my foot and go away for a while determined never to return ! (I usually do after I've calmed down)
It's just that I have this picture of everyone else sailing through the set-up process without any hitches or questions, and there am I, the Dummy in the corner that has to keep asking questions and seemingly not being able to 'get' the answers.

I'm working on 'dresses' with sleeves now, I have several catagories with sub catagories, so this could take a while, but at least I know I'll get there eventually now.
(Then I have more ideas for more stores !)
    Thanks again.

Don't you believe it! I still get myself in corners at times I can't seem to get out of.... But it does get easier over the years...!
