Default Photo uploader keep insisting that my photos should be a different way up.

I've had this before but when I have rotated the photo in the folder then rotated it back again it has then uploaded them the right way up. Now it has decided that it wants this photo to be upside down and nothing I do to the original file is going to change it's mind about it. Is there anything I can do about this? Is there, perhaps, another way of getting the photo in to the listing? Is there a way of rotating it in the uploader that I don't know about? Is it just trying to appeal to the Australian market?

It sounds as if the metadata in the image file may be corrupted. I would open the file in an image editor (MS Paint or one of the online editors such as img2go.com). Make certain that it is in the correct orientation, then save it onto your computer in a different image format such as bmp. This normally should purge the orientation metadata. Exit the image editor, then go back into the editor, open the .bmp image and re-save it as a .jpg file with a name other than its original name - upload the new image with its new name to your ebid listing.

I'm having it happen again, Spent 30 minutes on the same photo this time, I've just tried what you suggested and I saved the photo four times with four different name, and each of them have come out the wrong way up. They are the right way up when I put them in the editor, wrong way up when I upload.

It's OK, I've done it. I had to let the listing go live, copy the offending picture (save image as), then put it in the photo editor, rotate it save it then upload the picture again.
