UPC/EAN is incorrect - listing edit fail

Hi,

Trying to edit a multi variation listing recently imported from ..bay.

Trying to edit quantity. Edit >

ebid listing variation wizard ... Stage 4

Currently all items have "Does not apply" in UPC/EAN box, when submitting / clicking next button listing has the following failure message:

"UPC/EAN is incorrect"

.......
I could check my stock & input the UPC/EAN code....but some other item I sell do not have a UPC code..

Use 'Exempt' only in UPC/EAN box..

Unfortunately it doesn't like Exempt or EXEMPT either ;-(

Don't think you can use a brand name without a UPC/EAN.

So try deleting the brand name and put Exempt in the Bracode box.

You can definitely list with brand but no barcode, I'm wondering if it's some glitch in the import from the bay, where they use 'does not apply' as opposed to eBid's EXEMPT. A pain I know but have you also tried closing [not deleting] the auction then use the relist button and editing that way.

Can you give us a listing ID number that is causing the problem when editing.
