On Bonanza my best selling technique is creating and giving people coupon codes with expiration dates. Its simple. I tell them use code 20off for 20% off all my items at bonanza.com/booths/mrrosado

On here I have to tell them to check out and wait for an invoice with the coupon applied. It would be much easier if Ebid had the same coupon marketing techniques offered by Bonanza. I sell on all 3, ebay, bonanaza and ebid. I hope to make ebid my primary home. Please add this feature.

you can just add the 30% discount on the listing page. you can have it applied for up to 44 days i think or less, if required

The problem with this is that everyone gets the code. People do not feel so special if everyone has the code. I give repeat customers extra discounts.

You can do that (xtra discounts) on the invoice before sending to your customer.

I am aware of that. It still note the same. They have to really trust you. If they put in that coupon code themselves they see the numbers drop. It's advertising strategy that works.

I also used coupon codes for repeat buyers on etsy (I no longer sell on etsy) and it does indeed work as a marketing strategy. It would be nice to have that ability here. On etsy you can have the packing slip print the coupon code to encourage future purchases or send the code to people who are watching your listing in order to entice them to buy.
