How do i get the messages i send to save please?

Do you mean the PM messaging on the forums ? If so they go into a 'sent items' file if you look at the left hand side of your inbox page. Just click on the link and you will see them.

Yes that is what i mean. When i look under sent items there are none there - ever!

In My Settings>My Account>General Settings>Private Messaging,

• Sent Private Messages:
  
  • Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default
  • Don't save a copy of sent messages
  
  When sending private messages the forum can make a copy of the message in your Sent Items folder.
