YDC 169 Tally Thread

I have done a terrible job trying to figure the moneys out for each charity so this is the only solution I can think of:
I received $220.67 deposited to my PayPal account for Direct Relief so that is the amount I will send to them.

£5 was sent to DR by Annie so that is the total raised Direct Relief.

Since some monies were in $ and some in

£ it was hard to tell the total other than the PP amount received.

Some money was reported by buyers and sellers, some had user names and some had real names so I'm afraid I could not get it all straight.

I hope you will all forgive me for failing you and just get the money turned in to the proper charities.

I see hurry has already reported who the winner is and I wish everyone the best for YDC 170.

Thank you, meebo, but I couldn't tell how much each charity raised or who had sold the highest priced item. I couldn't see anyway to go back and look at the sales. Anyway I think all that participate are honest with the amounts they send the charities and that is the important part!

Don't panic Youmeus it is mind boggling when you do the tally !

If everybody just reports their FINAL total (what should be next to their name) and which charity I'm sure it would help Youmeus out.

I would take the 'buyer' bit off the first post as that confuses things. A tip for the future is to pinch post two for making notes about who has sent money direct to you instead of the seller.

I'm going to stick with what I said in my last post and would suggest things could go more smoothly if there were some rules for reporting the sales. Good luck to whoever does it in the future but this process does not make me want to do it again!

Sorry to hear you had such a rough time. As cornishmaid1961 stated, it is much easier if you have post #2 to add your notes.
