Post Page Views for Some Run Until Sold Listings Reset to Zero

Hi! I am new to eBid, but have recently opened a store and started listings items. I have set all of my listings to "Run Until Sold" so that I don't have to worry about relisting them. Every day I've been monitoring my listings through My eBid and have noticed in the last 2-3 days that my page views for a bunch of my listings have somehow reset to zero. I currently have 71 listings and before the page views disappeared all of my listings except for 3 of them had at least one page view. Now it is showing that close to half of them have zero page views. I saw that there had recently been a site upgrade - is my disappearing page views due to the site upgrade? Or is this just a website glitch and will the views come back? Anyone else noticing this issue?

Hi there from Aberdeen, Scotland! You should consider postage to UK. Although prices of postage are high you may just have something someone is looking for
Simply Handmade all my handmade items

Craft Store Crafty bits & pieces. Patterns, Card, Yarn, Stamps and more

Please have a look. I combine postage wherever possible.

It seems to me that the view count is affected by site updates. That’s my perception as well.

As as you are visiting eBid regularly, you might consider changing the RUS settings to 7 or more days with 10 auto relists. That way your listings cycle through to the top of searches and show up on front page as new and closing. When auto relists are getting low you can bulk edit back up to 10. Or easily relist from unsold folder.

    Hi all,

Every now and then we have to reset our temporary caches (where most recent page views are stored) when major changes are made to our database structure. This happens very rarely (Saturday was the second time this year) but can mean the last couple of view counts on some listings can be lost as they haven't yet been saved to the database.

It's impossible for us to save every single page view to the database as this would mean a permanent heavy server load but we will look into improving the algorithm.

    Thanks for the input,
    Gazza
