    Default Screen locking up

    Hi all

I was listing some more stamps when I accidentally put in too many dots to the price (again)

I got the usual pop up "ebid alert" box stating "please enter an amount, Only 0-9 and dot are permitted "

Nothing unusual there,(I blame the keyboard) When I have had this is the past, it is not the easiest problem to resolve but after several pressings of the OK button and clicking on the price (plus a few well chosen words spoken in anger) the pop us box goes and all is well with the world - except today - I cannot close box or rectify price - I cannot even close ebid

Is it me ? or do I need to reboot (probably with a sledge hammer :-)

Using Google Chrome, Windows 10 and an XXX rated phase book

    Many thanks

Apart from anything else, the message would be improved by stating ""Please enter an amount, only 0-9 and a single dot are permitted".

David, maybe it would be useful if you could state whether the problem is repeatable.

    Hi John

Yes It occurs every time I use two dots in error

Clicking the OK button usually resolves it - but this can take several attempts - today it did not

Try it - list a stamps and add a price at £1..50 and you should get the same message

    David

    Many thanks

Thanks David, I'm not about to try it, it's not my job to fix ebid's problems, I'm a user like you. I'm just suggesting how you can refine your problem report to increase the chances it will be addressed.
