aww Madelaine - you are such a lovely person! Thank You.
Sadly, ill health forced me to end Janet's Trust in June this year - I just couldn't do it any more. Over the years JT raised just over £10,000 though so I'm chuffed with that. (see my About Me page)
Thanks for all your support everyone.
and Thank You again Madelaine. xx
and I see your feedback has made it to 1000
£10000 takes some raising - well done!

I loved supporting Janet Trust.
I got to clear out my craft cupboard when you wanted some bits for a bunch of crafty girls....xxx
Oh The Girls, The Girls!!! lol! What a handful they were! The Boys were so much easier! lol!!! The Girls were eventually separated (yes, it was so bad!) and one was sent away to live in a Home in the Lake District. They will both have left care now. Same with my lovely Boys..... Janet's Trust took them out, one by one, for a celebratory meal with a Carer each to celebrate their Coming of Age and new found independence. One became a tattooist, another into Retail Management..... such lovely boys, all of them.
One of the last things JT did was to fund a School with special needs kids gardening project - they won the Wyre in Bloom Junior competition last year because of it so JT funded it again for this year. I do hope they do well again. It was such an uplift for the kids, School, Staff and neighbours to the school as well. (see pics below). This year they have planted up Jeans on a washing line! So cute!
eBidders were absolutely brilliant in their support (remember all those defibrillators!!!) and I have always been very grateful. The £10000 was largely raised via eBid sales as well as the generosity of the monthly Your Donation Counts (YDC) competition here on eBid also it has to be said.
Ian! How lovely to see you about! Rosaries! I'll PM you.
I don't think I realised you were so actively involved, cheaver! I thought you funded stuff not DID it!

awww, Bless! I was well and truly in the thick of it most of the time! Also, I was an active participant of the Russell Haldane Trust which hosted Janet's Tust for me & never missed a Trustee Meeting.
Believe me, it was all very demanding and interesting stuff and totally brilliant for the 8 years it lasted......
It has to be said my links with the Russell Haldane Trust will, of course, live on.....
Being a Trustee is a major undertaking!
