How to change a portion of your item description in bulk?

I have over 1100 items listed and need to change one sentence in every items description - is there a trick using Bulk Edit? I have tried it 4 times with no success. Can anyone help?

Are you are referring to the Replace function in Bulk Edit?

If so, it works at an HTML level. What you search for to replace must exactly match what is in the HTML source of the listing description - which may not be what is displayed in your browser.

If you give an example listing id number and what it is that you are trying to replace more targeted help may be possible.

Before using Bulk Edit always ensure that you have a copy of your listings as a backup should things go wrong. Bulk Edit is a powerful tool but you can do a lot of damage with it.
