...what a user sees if they are blackballed by a seller? Do the Bid/Buy buttons not show on a listing, or do they get some sort of message if they attempt to Bid/Buy?

The Buy button was there. Clicked on it and got the 'You are about to use BuyNow to purchase this item....[OK] [Cancel]' message, so perfectly normal to that point.

Didn't try to complete the purchase as fees would have been involved.

Should there have been a Bid button?

So unless it blocks after that point then it doesn't seem to work.

Have you anything listed with a bid price? I can't find one. Could it be the blackball just blocks bidding but doesn't block BuyNow?

I would have expected it to block all purchases.

Thanks, if you have a biddable listing I'd like to try it.

I have emailed support for clarification on how the blackball is supposed to work but a practical experiment may give the answer faster.

The blackball page does only mention bidding, but if I blackball someone it is because I don't wish to trade with them at all.
