Worst Album Ever???

Having just sat through Faust - The Faust Tapes, I would like to nominate this album for the worst album ever award, there is 5 minutes of listenable music on Side One but the rest is seriously hard work.

I might add that Nazareth - Exercises runs this a very close second. Sorry Nazareth fans!!

LOL! Can't think of any one album offhand, though I'm not a fan of any recent rap/hip hop music, (yes, it's an age thing, sorry kiddies).

Trust me, I listen to 100s of albums a week and those two are seriously stand out bad albums.

So if someone bought you something crap for chrsitmas last year, get them a copy of one of them two albums, or both if it was a particularly bad present.

The Faust album is pretty bad, but I remember lots of pretty awful cheapo prog rock albums from around the same time.

The worst album I remember buying was Fripp & Eno "No pussyfooting" 5 tracks, all over 15 minutes long and just total repetition !!

I was a huge Roxy Music & king Crimson fan and thought wow this is going to be good, !!!!

Thankfully the following 2 albums they did together redeemed my faith in them both.

I remember that one. I got trapped to as I was a huge King Crimson fan and early Roxy Music stuff was just so different and revolutionary at the time.

Thank god I haven't come across that one because I don't think I could stand listening to that again.

Hang on, what am I saying? The UK release on Island is very collectable.
