Default Problems with HTML in Template

Hi, I have been using the same information for my listing template for sometime now. However the settings in the eBid site seem to have changed since Monday last week when I put up my last listing.

The listing numbers are: 156491551 and 156597129 (Sorry I don't know how to make these into a clickable link within the forum).

As you can see in the original the bullet points are dark all the way through. But in the listing I put up today (using the same template, stored in oneNote 2016) the bullet points in the terms and conditions are hollow.

I suspect that the changes are due to changes made on the eBid site and not the template, as I have looked at the code and it seems exactly the same to me. Also I amended the second listing by copying and pasting the t&cs from the first listing. Only to get the same result (hollow bullet points).

Can anyone advise me as to what (if anything) I am doing wrong please?

In #156491551 I see dark bullets throughout
In #156597129 I see dark bullets in description and light bullets in the terms and conditions

Thanks Cheaver, That is weird I am using Windows 10 and have tried firefox and chrome, and get the same result. Solid bullet points in the description but just a plain bordered circle with white inside it for the terms and conditions.

It seems that Jan also sees the same as me.

Which is annoying as the idea of having a template is that all the listings should look the same.

Thanks Cheaver, Up to now I have only checked 2 of the listings I put up previously. I will check a few more later and refer it to the support team in the hope that they can find a solution.

Hi Mel, Yes I thought that it might be related to that as well.

I have followed all the advice in that thread since that problem with no further glitches happening. My original copies of the documents are stored on OneNote 2016.

Plus this latest issue popped up sometime since Monday of last week, when my template worked okay, and is still displaying as it should.

I have tried the obvious work around of copying the section from the old listing and embedding it into the new one but it is still coming up withe mixed bullet points. Which suggests to me that the change maybe somewhere within the site rather than my listing. Particularly as I have tried to launch a listing 3 times with the same problem.

While I have been typing this I have thought of something I haven't tried yet: a completely fresh listing. Mostly I ore-prepare the listings and queue them up in the my defaults section by clicking and making a copy and have had no problems with that up to now.

If you are using the WYSIWYG (simple or advanced) editor window, this might explain why some of your coding is going awry.
If you are using the Plain HTML box editor window, then you should be ok.
I always keep my editors in Plain HTML box mode so that nothing happens to my codes.

The way I do the listing is to over type the description of a previous listing in advanced, then switch to plain html where I insert the up to date terms and conditions. Then switch back to Advanced to check everything shows as it should. Up to now I have had no problems with it.

I have passed it on to the support team, so will hope they can sort it out.
