Size of box for ASL

Interestingly, these expansion dots can be seen (bottom right) when we click to reply to a post on Forum. When the mouse is hovered over the Forum dots a message appears saying "Drag to resize". When the mouse is hovered over the ASL dots however no text appears to spell out expansion but there is a symbol which indicates expansion.

I didn't know that about resizing the box, either!!! I would prefer it was bigger to start with, AND I wish ALL THE BOXES, like search, and the message box, and any others on this site would be more visible...............like with an outline of green or something. I have good eyes, but often have a hard time seeing a white box on a white background.................

It's the standard way a multi-line textbox works, so it is not a specific site issue. You could equally say that eBid should spell out how to Cut, Copy and Paste text into the box.

Totally agree about the outlining HerMajesty. I commented that it was hard to see the boxes when the site first got changed but nothing was done. On the old green and purple site you could see them really well.

Would it be possible to increase the size of the box into which the message is typed in the After Sale Log. The box is so small that only a few words are visible at one time. This makers it difficult to review messages as one types them and before they are sent.

Even though it is resizeable, It shouldn't be as small as that to start with, Can you let me know which browser you are using.

Gazza on my desk top on Chrome I can only see three lines of typing at a time with about three or four words in each line. I presume Tony must get the same problem on Firefox ?!

But it's not as though having that symbol in the bottom right corner of a box is something unique to eBid. Or even unique to web pages. Many dialog boxes are resizable and indicate that with the same convention.
