Search improvements

I've just searched for 2 items using number codes and neither return results UNLESS I click 'search descriptions' which is hidden!

Come on guys, a search should automatically go through titles AND descriptions without buyers or members having to click through further!

I think by searching the descriptions by default it would then find too much that is irrelevant. However it does find ISBNs, UPCs, EANs & MPNs (ie Barcodes)by default so I don't know what sort of "number codes" you were looking for.

I'd prefer to find too much on eBid rather than nothing.

Being a Sizzix fan I search for the Sizzix number of 6 digits which is more readily available rather than the barcode of 13 digits.

then searched using 657126 only which located your listing.

So I don't understand what the problem is.

Edit - Yes, okay, I will admit that it hadn't occurred to me that the number I was searching for was not in the title.
