I think it would be best located like this,

Category - Collectables. -Postcards Topoghraphical; England, - Bristol.

While I appreciate that for many years Bristol was not in a county, we have mostly given in and put it into Somerset

I did know that and I have always listed them in Somerset. But I notice 2 other big sights list them in Bristol.

I always thought the UK postcard categories were based on the pre-?1970s local government reorganisation boundaries as that is where the majority of postcards listed come from?

e.g Peterborough should be under Northants if not under Soke of Peterborough, NOT Cambridgeshire it's current affiliation.

Just my thoughts.

That argument makes perfect sense, Annie. At the moment the England categories are a muddle of old and new counties - we have Rutland (old) but not Westmorland..We have Cumbria (new) but not Teesside

I only asked because. Ebay & Del show Bristol as a county, but Ebid does
not. Its not a problem

Perhaps it's a problem for people doing a bulk migration? Not me though.
