Wooden hedgehog doorways are an excellent idea, most of the ones available online seem to be plastic so this would be great for choice.

Sorry there hasn't been any updates for quite a while. As you might assume this is mainly down to the Covid restrictions and staff shortages at the centre. Things are now starting to get back to some kind of normal so hopefully will have some pictures to post before to long.

The idea of hedgehog doorways I have suggested so once the workshop is up and running again they may have a go at making some.

I know that Ben with a bit of help has started getting tp poly tunnel and raised beds ready for this years veg planting.

The Easter fun continues this week and at our Sherwood Centre in Mansfield Woodhouse everyone got involved in the big Easter Egg hunt in the gardens.

It’s National Gardening Week and everyone at our Sherwood Centre has been busy getting the garden into shape.

Their plants are growing well and they're hoping for a bumper crop of tomatoes and cucumbers this year. Meanwhile, Ben and James have been weeding the crazy golf area ready for the summer.

Books, thanks so much for posting these pics. It's lovely to see how well organised and planned out everything is - the raised beds, the Polytunnel etc. Ben and James look so happy and proud of their work, and rightly so!

A group from the Sherwood Centre had loads of fun visiting Mansfield Museum and trying out the many interactive displays.

    Lovely!
    Thanks for posting books.
As you know, my O/H was a day care officer for many years working with clients with learning difficulties.
He used to take them out in their minibus, and sometimes call home to let the guys pet our animals!
Always such lovely, happy friendly folk - just look at that smile on her face (above pic)

Where's the month going? Midway through June already and what a month it's been so far! It's been so busy we've barely even had chance yet to share with you some of the pictures from our celebrations of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. So here's a few of those photos...

The Sherwood Centre in Mansfield Woodhouse welcomed some very special visitors yesterday. Day services manager, Joe, brought in his six-week old puppies to meet everyone.
