answer the question in my ebid? or do you mean you want to add something more? You can only edit the listing and hope the buyer notices.

They ask about shipping more than one item, I told them they would all fit in a flat rate box but I didn't know the current fee for that. I wanted to let them know what it would cost but don't see any way to do it.

There used to be a way to get back into the original question if you went via the link in the eBid question notification email.

I know I have got in to add something to my answer in the past that way but I don't know if that is still possible as the site has changed since then. Worth a try clicking around on it if you still have the email.

Thanks for taking the time to help me. The buyer was a little impatient and ask the ? again so I was able to answer. I just thought it had to be simple and I was missing something.

I sent an inquiry to the help desk, got a ticket # and this AM they replied that I could tell them what I wanted to tell the buyer and they would pass it on. This sure seems like a crazy way to do it.
The buyer did ask more questions so we have been in touch but have not made the sale yet.
Thanks for all of your help.

That certainly is crazy ! All we need is a way of editing the original answer that we have given. It can't be a complicated thing to add as I've done it in the past via the email link, so surely it would be simple to put it in the question & answer section ?!

If you do what ebid suggested it takes at least a few hours and can cause a buyer to move on. Thankfully I had a patient buyer and they have now bought 7 listings. I just wonder how many sales are lost because of things like this that could be much simpler.
