i dont really know we live quite close to the river Wye

so perhaps he lost his way

it was lucky hubby stopped at the end of the or else he would of hit him

he didnt hiss or try to fly away from us as we walked pass

hopefuly he/she is not hurt

if he is still there in the morning i will ring the rspca

What a treat to see that up close!! I love rural areas. We get to see deer and foxes in the yard/garden, and loads of birds.....even heard a boar one day. But have never had a visit from a swan.

well the swan fled sometime during the night as she/he was not there at 6 this morning

i am gald i live this side of the river and not the forest side as i dont think i could put up with dear sheep or boars in the garden thou i have been told that they are on the doward which means they have crossed the water some how
