which are they, please? I can see 14 stamp listings
Madelaine
4 shops for Cats Protection & Prospect Hospice
My Postcard Shop
BK Stamps for Philatelic listings
& Yarnalong for craft patterns
and
Lotzabitz -anything that doesn't belong in one of the other shops.
There used to be 18 :-)
I had an email after the fact saying they had been removed due to having duplicate headings, but I wasn't given the opportunity to change them and I was referred to some Listing Rules which I can't seem to find. I've no intention of doing all that work again so I've closed the lot down...back to eBay for me.
Just this morning I was thinking how good eBid had become...I got that wrong :-)
I think eBid needs to look at their procedures and close auctions instead of just deleting. That way they may not lose customers

Oh yes, that is both a frequent event AND one of eBid's attempts to ensure that we don't love them! We have frequently asked for the opportunity to edit before they delete but it goes on happening. Mostly eBid is ok, though. (nice quality stamps, btw!)

Well unfortunately I've wasted a lot of time end effort because of their practices.
Thanks I have a huge collection, which I intended putting on eBid, but I'm looking for other solutions now.
As long as you ensure that each listing has a unique title you will be okay (a reference number or some sort would sort that out). Surely it would not take lond to generate 18 refence numbers, edit the existing listings and continue to list. Unfortunately it all comes down to reading the "terms of engagement" as the military woudl call them before begininning operations.
eBid admin and customer service is much better than the other site's. I hope you stay with us.

- We currently allow one auction, be it a normal or multi-item auction, to be placed in a single category with the same title. Do not place the same item in many different categories.

If they had just closed them it would have saved the text and I could have changed the titles. As it is I'd have to go through the catalogues to get all the numbers for the individual stamps again. Deleting auctions without warning is not good customer service imo.
Backing up all listings comes to mind OP and then any problems are easily sorted - I back up after every 10 or so but I also have NL as a back up too. As my husband would say in this instance RTFM first.
