    Thank you Madelaine.
I wished my Plumerias would flower, but I now think that I have to accept the fact that they are too tropical to thrive and flower in our climate. Still keep hoping though!

Great pix Trish - they all look very exotic to me!
Obviously, you're doing a good job on that palm - no mean feat in your neck of the woods I'd guess

My annual picture of our wisteria - I've always wanted one but moving every 2 years made it impractical. As soon as I saw this, I wanted to buy the house.

Gotta love the beautiful clouds of purple Madelaine. I like Wistera also, but unfortunately, it's a bit too hot here for them.

It's good to know that there are advantages to Blighty!

Hi all - not a lot going on in my garden of late, seeing as we are going into our winter period & things (especially most orchids) hibernate.
But here's a little follow up on the Epidendrum ibaguense, which has finally decided to open its flower/s. Also notice the "keikis" plantlets have grown & are now ready to be planted up in their own pots.
This orange form is the most common colour, but I have various colour types that are yet to mature & flower for me.

    Lovely!

The orchid on which you gave advice is doing at it is told and producing yet another flower spike - it will have been flowering continuously for 18 months

That's great news Madelaine, you must have it in exactly the right conditions! How about a pic or two when the flower opens!
I'm so glad it didn't turn up its toes after my advice.

AH! First time I've seen this forum and I'll be back! Love all the pictures posted - I want one of everything! LOL!!!

My veggie garden is "in transition" - tired of fighting the rocky soil and am converting to container gardening. Got my artichokes, horseradish and garlic transferred yesterday to tubs and thinned out the iris. Am enjoying the last days of the lilies - had to bring in a bouquet as I'm stuck inside today
