You'll better thank the 'roaches
Hi all - here's a little follow up on a couple of orchids I mentioned earlier
First is the Epidendrum porpax which eventually had 3 blooms. As a first time flowering, I'm happy with that.
Secondly, the early stages of root development on the 2 Keiki's of Epidendrum ibaguense (Crucifix orchid)
Hopefully they will survive the cockroaches
The first time one of these has flowered for us

That looks like one of the Phaius orchid types Very nice whatever it is.

Here is a pic of my Trachycarpus wagneriamus which has flowered for the very first time this year!
If it's a female tree I shall have to try and get some pollen from a male tree to fertilise them so that the seeds will be viable.
