If you were hiring a hall for a party on 24th October, you were meant to be out of hall by 11.45pm, but you were a bit slow clearing up, and your guests were slow leaving so that you were still in hall after 12.00 midnight would you ask the caretaker (who is also the booking secretary) for an extra hour as the clocks had gone back on hour?

The clocks don't go back until 2am on the Sunday morning

Yes, I know, but it would appear not everyone knows. That was the question I was asked by hirer of hall for a party on the Saturday before the clocks go back a few years ago. I thought, nice try, and told her no, clocks don't go back until 2.00am.
