I want to thank the eBid community for donations to the Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life ... via the YDC charity auctions.

Our TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) group had a team and over $6,000 was raised. Locally, our town exceeded goal and raised about $97,000 Canadian.

This year the theme was "Superheroes". Many of those were present. Organizers, volunteers, fundraisers, and (most importantly) cancer survivors, caregivers, those in treatment.

So I was an old bat. Suitable, some would say.

I walked 20 km (about 12 miles) in the park. It was about the right amount for me. No sore feet, no stiffness, no problems and no medication required.
