Pinback Buttons

I wanted to know if you can kindly add "Pinback Buttons" to your selling list options for Collectables. I could not find "Pinback Buttons" in any of your selling categories. Thanks, Rob.

I don't know what a pinback button is - is it a pin badge / lapel pin? If so, you can put it under jewelry > brooches / pins or collectibles > badges / patches

I've been collecting pin badges for over 25 years, and I've never heard of a pinback buttons. Possibly you mean what is commonly known as button badges (not the type I collect) eBid could do with a category for button badges as I have my button badges under 'Collectables - Badges & Patches - Other' I don't know how to request a new sub-category so I haven't done anything about it.

Yes, that's what that are; an Americanism (though I think they invented them). Collectables > Badges & Patches is the right place on eBid. Though maybe eBid could recognise the term and direct searches to the right place. I think there was a thread from Gazza somewhere for suggesting alternate terms for the same thing. Or maybe the could rename the category to include Pinback Buttons.

In the U.S. they're called Pinback Buttons.

We have a few old ones listed under "Collectibles: Badges & Patches: Other"

According to Wikipedia Pin-back button is a US general term for all types of badges it's unusual for a badge collector to collect all types of badges, for instance I only collect pin badges with (what's commonly known as) butterfly backs.
When I list badges they are described as pin badges with butterfly backs, badges with hook fastening, badges with clip fastening or button badges, making it easy for the badge collector to find the type of badge they collect.
