Any protection for our listings on Google Shopping ?

Hi Bid, Over the last couple of months I've noticed a drop in my sales compared to last year. Now I know this could be related to a number of factors but today I read this article about Etsy sellers being targeted on Google Shopping.

I don't know if eBid listings are also being targeted as I don't click on our listings on Google Shopping because I know it costs eBid money.

I would like to know are you aware of what is going on and is there any fix being worked on to protect our listings from being scraped in this way by spammers ?

Looks like it is just not etsy.

Etsy also said last month in the same thread that it wasn't the only marketplace victimized by redirects. "Sites like Amazon, eBay, and other ecommerce sites are also subject to these spam tactics."

Yes, it's not good news if we are being targeted too as a lot of my buyers were newbies coming in from Google.

What bothers me the most is the last bit about Google not responding. It makes me wonder why...

Yes you would think Google would be able to do more security wise, after all they make enough money out of Google Shopping these days !
