Thought I would introduce you to my little babies, a few weeks ago i put a bird box up on the back of my house with a camera in it, within a couple of days a pair of blue tits took quite a shine to it, after inspections the birds decided to make it a home, we have watched every day as they they slowley build a nest, and when they was happy with the nest, they produced these

I've been watching as the days progressed and estimated they were due on the 1st May, on Saturday I went off to Brighton for a couple of days and on my return.

Say Hi to the little ones



Mother and Babies are fine, Dad has stepped up to the mark and has been busy backwards and forwards with food for all of them.


As the camera runs to my telly I am taking the photos on my telly so they will not be as clear as i would like them to be, but will do my best If you want updates let me know and I will post the pictures as they grow, I dont want to bombard the KT if it is of no interest to anyone

Oh these are ADORABLE!! Thanks for sharing! I've never seen such tiny birds! What a neat idea to use a nest cam! I'm going to love seeing them. Can I be the godfeather?...er....godmother?

How lovely Shezz. We've had a blue tits nesting in our box for the last three years so we rigged up a camera last year but it wasn't very good and was a bit fuzzy. We bought a new camera for this year and sod's law they have decided not to nest there this year !

I shall have to adopt yours, so yes please to more pics

Oooh, how absolutely amazing Shezz, what an amazing experience for us all to see the little babies just hatched/hatching.
I have a little birdie house in my lilac tree, it was intended for the Blue Tits, but Siskins moved in!
I watched as a nest was being constructed inside, and now I think dad is taking food to the youngsters.
I'm hooked on watching birdies - so please Shezz - keep us updated on the progress of your babies. Deffo more pics!

Hiya all, thanks for the replys I had words with me babies and told them they have been adopted by the KT and that they even have a royal grandma HerMajesty , there is a another great thread with a Live stream on some blue tits, you will see just how fast they grow and just how quick they change I will post piccys to keep you updated but wont bombard the kt so will post them in this thread, I just had to share these 2 piccys with you.
