I'll be writing to the School later today with the good news, then it's just a case of sit back, wait for them to send me their paid Invoice scan which I will send to the Trustees along with a cheque request.

Just to update:

I have written to the Trustees and will be taking the money to be paid into Janet's Trust a/c to them as soon as I hear back when it will be convenient.

I've also written to Devonport High School for Girls, Mrs Hemsi (Headmistress) and Mr Lamb (Asst Headmaster), to let them know our brilliant result; that £600.00 is now available for their Defibrillator purchase and requesting them to send me their paid Invoice scan as soon as they have it. (So that I can forward it to the Trustees along with a cheque request which I will then post on to the School by 1st Class Signed For Royal Mail.)

All sorted (I think!)....

Thank You Everyone once again for all your stunning effort and generosity. We have achieved a lot - met a great need and had a lot of fun in the process!

Attached is the Russell Haldane Receipt for the £500.00 we raised for the Devonport School Defibrillator. (YDC 129).

As soon as I receive a scan of School's paid Invoice I will send it to the Trustees and request the School's cheque. (£600.00)

Just to let yous know, I took a cheque, and the double named Crystal Vanilla baby white rabbit (soft toy) to NAWT's Easter Fayre on Saturday which included money raised from YDC 128 and 129, name the rabbit competition, plus sales from NAWT Charity Store and the logo keyrings sold on ebay since the beginning of the year. Thank you very much to all who contributed, you're stars.

We want to thank you for the kind donation of £ 38. 48 that you kindly gave to us at our Easter Fayre on Saturday 21 st March. which helped to boost our money. With the bill at the kennels and cattery increasing in April we have to look to ways to raise money,
The ladies who ran the event told us how hard you worked and it seemed a very innovative idea. We are very appreciative of this, and hope that those who helped with this realise it.

Awww, that's great emm (for some reason I can't call you Sandra, you will always be emm!)
Keep up the good work gal, I think most of us are animal lovers, and knowing that you (and us eBidders) are helping to fund much needed money for a really good cause is super news.

Thanks Trish no worries, Sandra is my given name, though apparently I was nearly named Glenda, but my mum found out that was the midwife's name and she was a right old battle-axe (my mum's words) and she didn't want her to think I was named after her.

Emmily (em/emm) is my online chosen name that I've used on many websites for more than 15 years. It started off as EmmilyPearl, then I found out that a man I was chatting to in a chat room, and getting very friendly with (and am now happily married to), his ex-wife's name is Pearl, so I dropped the Pearl and became just Emmily.
