YDC 129 Invitation (School Defibrillator)

Rather than asking forum members to nominate a school, why not raise the funds for the defibrillator and then give it to a school somewhere in the world?

Maybe the defibrillator would suffer THIS fate????

If you run out of eligible schools, I don't know why I didn't think of this one sooner (my age, I guess).....where my daughter teaches. Low income area, middle school (ages about 12-15). Approx 800 students. Franklin Middle School, Greeley, Colorado. Thanks!

Hi Everyone, I am delighted to say that:

Devonport High School For Girls Plymouth. 620 Pupils (jannersmugs) ~

has just written to say that the fruits of our YDC 129 efforts will be gratefully received:

"Thank you very much for your kind offer. We would be delighted to accept the donation as we feel that it would be a very worthwhile and valuable addition to our school."

Yes it's just brilliant! I'm thrilled to bits myself, must admit.
It's also poetic. The mug I asked Janners to list was only 'cos I was away for the 128 and wanted to support... I never expected it to win and when it did, I expected Janners to have a Charity of his own to support.
Now it turns out that it's Janners School which will get the fruits of our labour in the YDC 129! lol!

It's a relief to have it sorted ~ was beginning to think it might be back to the drawing board on Monday....

Thank You everyone for your support ~ it means a lot to me, but it will mean so much more to the School ~ and especially more so when the Defib is in place which might just save a life one day ~ and all because of the YDC.
