YDC 129 Invitation (School Defibrillator)

Just to clarify - some State Funded Secondary Schools are also called Colleges - the one local to me is called Millfield Science & Performing Arts College - but it is a Secondary School catering for Students/Pupils age 11 upwards.
So it is State Funded Primaries (including Nursery/Pre-School places if they have them) & Secondaries, ie age 11 upwards, (even if they are called Colleges) I am looking for here.
Guessed numbers of Students/Pupils cannot be accepted, sorry.

Lostock College (which is a school) in Trafford, Manchester number of students unknown guessing 300 - 400

Xaverian College, Rusholme, Manchester, number of students unknown.
http://www.xaverian.ac.uk/admin/fm/u...2015-entry.pdf says on page 4 says in 2013 650 went on to uni, so I am guessing as that will be upper sixth add in a lower sixth is possibly over 1300 students and may be a few others that don't go on to uni etc

Hi again. I've just looked a bit closer at your nominations:

Xaverian is a Sixth Form College with a campus which is very similar to that of a university and not a Secondary School.

Lostock College (as is Xaverian) is located in Lancashire? You live in Cheshire?

The Invitation is for Schools local to the YDC'er nominee so it appears that neither of your nominations can qualify for inclusion? Please correct me if I am wrong.

I'd like to nominate my local school The Ockendon Academy, trouble is, I've looked at the links on their website and can't find pupil number...I'll carry on looking, though I think I would have found it if it's there, but then again...

ETA - I've exhausted my search, so unless anyone else can find the number of attendees, have to pass on this nomination.

I'd like to nominate my local school The Ockendon Academy, trouble is, I've looked at the links on their website and can't find pupil number...I'll carry on looking, though I think I would have found it if it's there, but then again...

Emmily, I rang my 3 local school's and just asked them how many pupils they had & if they had a defibrillator. (all 3 do have defibrillators) As it is the weekend try your local council I'm sure they will give you pupil numbers.

Cheers Doe, I've now found some figures going through local council website, but the Ofsted figures I found are for 2013, 949 pupils.

Cheaver, is 2013 figure accepted? or I can email the school Monday if you don't mind waiting a couple more days. I'd prefer email to phoning I doubt if I could pronounce defibrillator...

Update:

Newtown High School, Newtown, Powys. 921 Pupils (Anniemcc2) ~ This School has a Defibrillator so I have been in touch with the next School on the list which is Devonport High School For Girls, Plymouth. 620 Pupils (jannersmugs) and this School does not have a Defibrillator. I have invited them to accept the fruits of our YDC 129 labour in order to help them to purchase one.

I'll post here when I get a reply.

Rather than asking forum members to nominate a school, why not raise the funds for the defibrillator and then give it to a school somewhere in the world?
