    Default Newbie needs some help!

Hello everybody! I'm pretty new to ebid and there's a couple of things the more seasoned users might be able to help me with.

Firstly, I'm not sure if I'm listing some of my items in the right categories. Eg Most of the cushion covers on sale haven't had one view. I made a saie the other day so I must be doing something right I guess.

Also, I'm stumped when it comes to selling internationally. I really want to do this but it seems complicated. Do you tick all countries for each item or, if sometimes I just want to sell to Europe how does that work? Do you have to weigh each individual item or does the buyer calculate cost of postage?

I put the link to my store below so any help on the above issues would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Welcome to eBid Hakiki. You have some nice items. Have you got the word 'EXEMPT' in the bar code box if your items don't have a code ? You need this to get your items onto Google Shopping where a lot of the eBid buyers come in from. If not then that may account for lack of views.

Selling overseas isn't complicated. Just tick the countries that you want to sell to. If you only want to sell to Europe just use the minus button next to the other two postage zones and they will disappear. You need to weigh your item along with the box or jiffy bag or whatever you will be packing with. This site will help you calculate the cost easily

Pick up some airmail stickers and CN22 customs stickers from your post office. (you don't need a customs sticker for most European countries) and you will be all set to go. Make sure your return address is on the back of the parcel, Norway and Canada also require the return address on the front of the parcel. Hope this helps.

Hi, Thank you so much for your help! No, I didn't know about the exempt rule but will now go through all my items and make sure of it. your advice on the postage has given me renewed confidence to go global!

Again, many thanks for taking the time to answer. I'll let you know how I'm doing

My pleasure and good luck with the sales. It's well worth selling overseas, I've sent pottery items off to Norway and Sweden this week on eBid.
