    Default Tele-Church Anyone

Received a newsletter today announcing the launching of TBN UK; with live taping of Praise The LORD PTL, from their London Studio. Seems talks of this launch have been in the works since 1998. Christian TV programming will be broadcasting on Freeview, and covering England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Scotland.

Has anyone from the UK viewed Christian programs via television? The newsletter indicated that about 10% of the UK population attends church services. I was recently wondering about that. I am planning on seeing if I can pick it up, as TBN UK will be among almost 30 other TBN Family Networks.

Heard that Freeview is accessible to 98% of the UK population. This launch is costing them about 10 million dollars per year, but European churches have already reportedly began purchasing air time. They consider the United Kingdom a great empire, and worth the investment.

Well today was the day that Trinity Broadcasting Network's TBN UK formally launched on Freeview Channel 65. The air time is 24 hours a day of Christian faith and family programming. So it is available to anyone, no matter what hour of the day or night.

The first year I was able to receive TBN programming in my area, I kept it tuned on 24 x 7. I was in a mode of recuperation, and it ministered healing to me spiritually, physically, and mentally. This process of recuperation went on for about one year. During that time I was unable to work; had a mortgage to pay, and many bills. All of my financial needs were met. PTL.

I went on the site through Google keywords "TBN UK Live". Site access available at www.tbn.org

TBN Praise show last night featured TBN UK. Local ministers and evangelist were interviewed in their churches, communities, and on the streets. Areas visited were Birmingham, Manchester, and Cardiff England; Edinburg, Scotland; and Belfast, Ireland. Interesting to hear what these local leaders had to say concerning their communities and the church.

The TBN UK Icon Network button is showing now, but it is not clickable yet. Not sure what criterior is used for the button to become clickable. Some buttons are clickable and others are not. There are now 28 Full Power Networks on TBN's Family of Networks.

Well, tested the TBN UK button again and was not taken to the site (London Studio).

    Questions?
Has anyone from the UK seen the broadcast(s)/any programs?
Does anyone from the UK belong to a church that has purchased air time?
    Are programs airing 24x7?
What do you think about the Network/Programming?
Has anyone been able to visit the London Studio?

In the mean time, I plan to continue trying to access the site from the USA. I was able to see the studio one time during the joint televising of the PTL program from USA and London.
