I have cleared the history, cookies etc

Have you cleared the cache, the cache is responsible for bringing up the old pages.

In Firefox go to Tools > options > advanced you will find the option to clear the cach there.

Just thinking.... did you remember to click Save Changes?
(when you changed the Editor to Advanced)

and, daft though it sounds, shut down & restart?
failing this, can only suggest you write to Support.

Yes i have done the above already. I have just tried on Internet Explorer and it comes up fine on there. I have no idea why there is a problem with firefox.

Since the forums are run on a 3rd party product, do they have that level of control?

Yes it can be done from within the vBulletin Admin control panel
