Auction Countdown not Working

Countdown is showing that auction is ended when there was more than enough time to bid before the ending.

So my bid wasn't saved. When going back to the auction it said I still had 11 seconds to bid.

Also on other auctions the countdown stopped so couldn't tell how much time was left.

I don't know why this problem remains unfixed (maybe too busy coding pointless lists). There is no reason the eBid server time cannot be read when the listing page is created (it is read and annotated at the bottom of the listing page) and correct timings calculated and used independent of the users' clock settings.

There are quirks to any site. Some are endearing and some are just annoying. This one, I feel, falls into the latter category and can be the cause of lost sales.
