Emmily is flattered that you chose to use her words.
(just to say, the last sentence between the *s was added when all the totals were in)

I hope you don't mind me offering you a few tips, I believe this is your first time at the helm of YDC. It can get a bit hectic when loads of emails/payments come in, deal with them one at a time, have an email Folder to move dealt emails to, take your time, there's no rush, take a break from dealing with the emails as and when you feel you need to. if your not sure about anything in an email, ask the sender to confirm. On the whole I found it an enjoyable experience, hope you do to.

Cheers Trish, but I just copied previous tally threads, so I'm not sure what I did different from anyone else before me. Tally threads are not that difficult, even you could do them.

(we're taking up posts in tally thread that maybe we shouldn't, sorry Penni)

That's OK. I have done 2 previous YDC's. One for Bowel Cancer and one for Hughes Syndrome. Both these were several years ago. I think since I joined I have only missed 1 YDC, when my dad died.
I was trying to get ahead of myself as both my OH and me have been laid low by the common cold. We both seem to have got it bad so whilst I am lying in bed with my lemsips and hankies I can see to the tallies.
