Would Gaz or Mark maybe be able to tell us how much traffic these ads are bringing to the site? Maybe after say 6 months of trying it?

If you have stat code on your listings you should be able to see this information yourself.

I use Statcounter as my preference, but I also use Google analytics

I used to type up the ads for Freeads years ago, when all you could do was buy the big yellow paper and browse the ads. I haven't looked at Freeads since then, but now that the internet features more prominently, I will look into putting some listings on there. I hadn't considered Freeads at all.
