So, in my honest opinion, I would suggest that before you post anything - read it over, check it once, even twice, then post if you are happy with what you have written.

In this case he is only wanting to correct a spelling mistake, but I do understand what you are saying Trish.

You can move the thread giving the same forum as the destination. Doing this gives you the option to edit the title if you wish. As someone else said though, if the thread has already received replies they will retain the old title in the Re: header.

You cannot move a thread to the same forum it is currently in. Someone else may have just moved this thread to your destination forum resulting in this error message.

BTW... you have to untick the Redirect option. A redirect makes no sense to the same forum.

I thought that you had a "copy thread" option, but this used to allow you to change thread title.
