Q&A Questions, Messages received as a seller

A little feedback...

Well we had our first question... :-)

It did take a few minutes to work out how to SEND the reply, putting the information in not a problem
(but we do wonder about space)
But how to send it off ... did work it out, *however it was not obvious.*

The QnA seems to be on the listing... is there a way to send, reply to messages privately?
Can a seller choose what message are on the listing?

As far as I know replies will be seen by everybody on the listing. You could PM (Private Message) them in the forum, possibly saying so on their question.

All questions & answers will be shown on listing, there is no option to make it private.

The message box will expand as you type.Look in the bottom right corner of the box,there will be a little triangle of dots or lines.Click & drag that corner & the box expands as you drag it.This applies to most message windows/boxes on other sites too.

What Blue said. Not sure if there's a limit on characters, though I've sent and replied to some lengthy messages on listings, so I kind of doubt it.

Thanks :-) does seem silly that you cant select what messages go on esp when something of a time nature etc not useful to anyone else ...

Not sure about that, I did read a lot of messages once between a seller and buyer which I felt was rather intruding on the buyers privacy. I felt embarrassed when I saw it and I think the buyer would have been if they had known it was available for everyone to read.

as said higher up the forum, what i do if it is more private is to use the Q&A to direct the buyer (or seller) to the private maeesage facility in the forums
