Removed Imported Feedback

Hi,

Today i got my imported feedback removed from my account.

Was this a good thing to do ? Or Should i have kept the imported feedback?

My personal opinion is that importing feedback is akin to cheating. It's not as if it tells potential buyer much as it just says

"This feedback was officially imported into eBid by an administrator, the feedback rating was imported from Another Online Marketplace."

I have more than 2000 100% positive seller feedback over 10 years on ebay, but I wouldn't consider importing it here as I believe I should earn my eBid feedback.

That's just my 2 cents

I think this is the first time speaking to you.

I agree on what you say this is the reason i got the feedback removed. I also believe that the feedback should be earned on eBid and not imported from the other site.

I originally thought that if i imported the feedback from TOS it would generate more sales for me but in this case i was wrong.

Hi, I see you've noticed my liking for the colour pink. I don't have an iphone 5, my mobile phone, which I'm very happy with is an old Sony Erricson (I think I remembered that correctly)

My eBid feedback is a mixture of both buyer and seller feedback, as it is also my personal opinion that sellers should buy as well, to support eBid and it's sellers.

Again, just my 2 cents.

Whether or not to import feedback is another personal choice and there are opinions on both sides of this debate. :-)
All my eBid feedback is from eBid purchases and sales. I never did sell much on the bay and have maybe 260 from sales and purchases over there, but have never sold anything on any other sites.

Personally, I don't have a strong opinion on the subject. To each his own.

It is a personal choice at the end of the day. I decided that my feedback from eBay just was not relevant to me here on eBid. For other sellers, the extra positives might look great but the feedback offers no real information to the potential buyers does it when it just states: "This feedback was officially imported into eBid by an administrator, the feedback rating was imported from Another Online Marketplace."

And if you have any neutrals or negatives, I know eBay removed the "neutral" option now because in their world it is either good or bad with no middle ground, but would you really want to carry those negatives here with you to eBid even if they were resolved amicably which potential buyers here for you will never know the outcome?

I've put one of your items on my watch list as a maybe purchase. The peugeot 3D chrome key ring, is it very heavy? Some of the nice key rings can be too heavy to be practical to use.

No the keyring is not heavy at all.

They are actually lightweight but high quality keyrings
